The Caracol publishing house was set up in Palermo on the advice of three young architects who share the interest in the history of art and architecture. Caracol is a publishing house focused on the publication of books and brochure with the aim of increasing the public awareness of culture, art and architecture. It pursues a strong interest in spreading the huge artistic and architectural Sicilian heritage in Italy and abroad and in providing the public opinion with an island’s image beyond the common beliefs, increasing information and curiosity on famous, but also lesser-known, monuments. Furthermore, the publishing house develops graphic project to promote and place a higher value on companies, assessing original and creative solutions, paying attention to the graphic design in devising logos, visiting cards, headed notepaper and web site. Finally, Caracol deals with brochures graphic design for congress, exibitions and other cultural activity.
